This coincidence of thinking appears in correspondence we have been having with other leading scientists. You may be interested to know that we have undertaken a series of studies to find the consensus of opinion among American leaders as to what the public should know and why. I suppose you had the feeling when planning the Burlington week that I often have in experimenting in adult education-- the feeling that this is local, isolated and so small a drop in the ocean that one even doubts the value of dropping it.
