RESERVE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION TRI-COUNTY CHAPTER BURLINGTON, IOWA RESOLUTION of 7 October 1947 by the Reserve Officers Association: WHEREAS, the most poignant factor in our foreign policy is atomic energy and food and, WHEREAS, in the interest of aiding in the education of all citizens, various organizations are sponsoring an educational program in Burlington, Iowa, NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED, that the week of 27 October 1947, to 1 November 1947, be declared Atomic Energy Week in Burlington, Iowa, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the entire membership of the Tri-County Chapter, Reserve Officers Association, pledge whole-hearted support and cooperation in this program.
