A Campus-Jamming Crowd for McGovern {Photo of large crowd gathered outside} TRIBUNE PHOTO BY MICHAEL HATT Upwards of 15,000 persons - a crowd described as the largest ever to gather on the Pentacrest - Thursday jammed the University of Iowa campus from Old Capitol (out of picture at left) to Clinton Street to see and hear Democratic presidential candidate George McGovern as he brought his campaign to Iowa City. {Photo of people holding banner that reads "HELP US BE ALL WE CAN BE", George McGovern shaking hands with woman holding banner.} Wirephoto (AP) A Sign That Pleased Stephen and Kathleen Ragusea of Cedar Rapids came to Iowa City with a sign bearing the words of their wedding vow: "Help Us Be All We Can Be." And as the campus rally ended, Senator McGovern brought them to the Old Capitol steps with their sign. "This is what the election of 1972 is all about," McGovern said.
