The plates are placed on the left side of the circle, one at a time; when the transfer is complete, he stands in the center of that jaw until the reader finishes. After the performance all floor designations are ignored. in the original performance, the replica repast was unfired stoneware clay, the floor was cement and the room was quite dark.
