In order to secure the services and admission to events to which your I.D. card entitles you, [italics] both[/italics] the SUI Identification Card and the current Certificate of Registration must be presented. DO NOT LOSE THEM Lost SUI Identification Cards and Certificates of Registration may be replaced only upon approval of the Office of Student Affairs. Application forms may be obtained at the University Business Office, Room 4, University Hall. A charge of $4.00 will be made for replacing the Identification Card and $4.00 for replacing the Certificate of Registration. A penalty, such as suspension of student activity privileges for the period of issue or a specified shorter period may be imposed on any student who loses either card, especially if it is used by any other person. CARD ONLY DO NOT LEND THEM Persons who are not students at the State University of Iowa must pay for the activities your I.D. card entitles you to attend. They have not shared in making the special services possible, and they are not entitled to your privileges. Do not lend your I.D. card to them. You are enjoying the activities because other students want to participate, too, and that privilege is not yours to lend. In the interests of your student partners, penalties are imposed if an identification card is used by any other than the person to whom it was issued. The violation may require suspension of student activity privileges for the period of issue or a specified shorter period. Remember you suffer the penalties, not the outsider whom you aided. 34
