Off-Campus Housing Standards All off-campus housing shall conform to University standards, city ordinances, and state housing laws. Any student may be required to move from premises which the University considers undesirable because of sanitary, moral, safety, or other reasons. Supervision Off Campus Housing. All householders renting to undergraduate students must supervise the facilities rented and perform student personnel functions as required by the University. Copies of University regulations are supplied to householders, who are responsible for supervision and enforcement. Fraternity Houses. Social and undergraduate fraternities occupying houses are required to employ approved housemothers who are held responsible for the supervision of houses. Honorary and professional fraternities occupying houses are required to employ approved supervisors responsible for enforcing social regulations. University Residences. In University residences, supervision is provided by personnel approved by the Office of Student Affairs Regulations for Men's Residences Chaperons and Hours of Entertainment. No women guests may be in men's residences, except when authorized chaperons are present, and then only at times within the following schedule: Monday through Thursday - 4:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. Friday- 4:30 p.m. to 12:45 a.m. Saturday- 12:00 noon to 12:45 a.m. Sunday and University Holidays - 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. Places of Entertainment. Entertainment of women guests in men's residences shall be confined to the reception, dining, and recreation or lounge rooms of the residences. Intoxicating Beverages The possession or consumption of beer, wine, or other intoxicating beverages by any student on the campus or within a dormitory, chapter house, or in off-campus housing is cause for dismissal from the University. Gambling Gambling by any student on campus or within any student residence is cause for disciplinary action. REGULATIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATE WOMEN All single, undergraduate women under age twenty-one or students living in approved housing, are subject to women's regulations as found in the Associated Women Students' Blue Book. In order to become acquainted with these regulations the following is a simplification of the regulations under which each will live. 77
