Personal HATRED is a madman who at first seems like an ally, but in the night knifes you in the back HATRED for other persons is like heroin addiction. At first it's exciting but it puts you in chains and kills. HATRED in irrational and stems from fear. Once hatred has started, it's like a disease, that spreads, that throws people into chains and kills them. HATRED makes seeing eyes blind---the one who hates is no longer able to see things as they really are. Instead, the one who hates sees things distorted---distorted by his hate and fear HATRED is bondage. Impatience is bondage. You can't get rid of hate. You can supress the hate, you can ignore it, you can lie to yourself and others and say it doesn't exist. You can try to be nicey-nice until it makes you into a cripple. Hate can drive you intoi a bleak, meaningless nether-world which doesn't end at suicide. It can isolate you from every other person in the world. Or it can enslave you in the deadly capitalist existence, which slowly smears other people. Or it can drive you to take a butcher knife to the one you love the most. Jesus Christ frees people from the power of hate and replaces it with the power of love. This power of love is not the same as the power of non-violence. It is much, much greater. It's the most beautiful thing ever to hit the world. Many people will never know this power of love because they refuse to let go of their preconceived ideas. Let go of your preconceived ideas and let the power of love come in. For everyone who asks will receive, and he who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to him who knocks..
