You can still leave contributions at the Church office. -- [[Bold]] FLOWERS [[end bold]] Flowers will be placed on the altar Sunday morning by Mr. William Mohnike and family in memory of wife and mother, Mrs. William Mohnike, and daughter and sister, Miss Mabel Mohnike. -- [[Bold]] NOTICES FOR TIDINGS [[end bold]] Please phone notices of meetings for Tidings not later than Wednesday. -- [[Bold]] CHOIR REHEARSALS [[end bold]] Plans are now under way for all choirs of our Choir School. Chancel Choir (High School, Junior College Youth, and Adults) has been rehearsing and appearing at the morning worship service since September 2(?). An invitation is extended to anyone who enjoys singing to find a place in one of our choirs of the Sanctuary. The Carol and Chapel Choirs will begin rehearsals this Wednesday, September 19, and we hope that many new boys and girls will come to the rehearsal of their particular group and enroll for the coming year. Parents are urged to encourage their children to use this opportunity to secure vocal and choral training and appreciation of the art of worship. The schedule for the choirs is as follows: CAROL CHOIR (boys and girls of the 4th, 5th and 6th grades)--Wednesday, at 4:15 P. M. CHAPEL CHOIR (Junior High Youth --Wednesday, at 6:30 P. M. CHANCEL CHOIR (High School and Junior College Youth and Adults) -- Wednesday, at 7:30 P. M. Let's make next week a great beginning for the Carol and Chapel choirs. -- [[Bold]] SYMPATHY [[end bold]] First Church extends sincere sympathy to Mrs. Nora Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Cook and family in the death of grandson, son and brother, Pfc. LaMonte Cook, who was killed in action in Korea, February 3, 1951. -- [[Bold]] W. S. C. S. FALL SEMINAR [[end bold]] The W. S. C. S. Fall Seminar will be held at F. Madison, Thursday, September 20.
