The people listed on the left have taken the time to talk to others about their church. Other people become interested in a church that meant so much to its members and want to be a member themselves. To tell people where your church is is not enough. To tell others to try and visit sometime is not enough. That is a lot like telling someone to visit you sometime without being definite. We all know such an invitation has little sincerity behind it. But when you invite a person to go to church with you, and you pick them up in your auto and bring them to church, take them through the church, introduce them to people in the church, you actually show that the church means something to you. People want to belong to a church that means a lot to its members. A person who is told just where the church is and nothing else cannot help but feel that it doesn't make much difference to the person doing the inviting whether or not he ever gets there. But if you take this person to church with you, the person feels that you regard him as acceptable material for church membership. you, then, who so highly regard your church, actually compliment a person by bringing them to church. This is the way that people are won for the church. Everyone can do it if they love their church sufficiently and hold the un-churched friend in sufficient high regard to bring them to church. 13(?)
