Student Activities Bulletin University of Iowa Office of Student Affairs Vol. I, No. 1 April 12, 1967 STUDENT ACTIVITIES BULLETIN TO SERVE STUDENT LEADERS This is the first issue of the STUDENT ACTIVITIES BULLETIN, a newsletter which will be published on an experimental basis this semester by the Office needs for improved communication between and among various University offices and students involved in the extracurricular programs of the University. Copies will be distributed to the presidents of all fraternities, sororities, residence hall associations, governing and programming bodies and the organizations chartered by Student Senate. Also, the mailing list includes many members of the administrative staff of the University. We hope that the BULLETIN will be a source of timely, useful information concerning the diverse activities of student organizations at The University of Iowa. We will attempt to identify and share important information of interest to campus leaders. In addition, the BULLETIN may serve as the vehicle for reporting a synopsis of various deadline dates and other critical data of interest to students throughout the campus. To maximize its effectiveness, we will publish the BULLETIN only when there is sufficient material to warrant an issue--probably every two weeks. The BULLETIN is edited by Dr. Roger D. Augustine, Director of Student Activities. Contributions are invited for any of the future issues to be published this semester. Due to space limitations, we reserve the right to edit and condense articles whenever necessary. Your comments and suggestions concerning the STUDENT ACTIVITIES BULLETIN are most welcome. Please direct them, and material for publication, to Dr. Augustine at his office on the first floor at the Iowa Memorial Union, phone 353-5761.
