The questionnaire (found on the last two pages of this BULLETIN) requests detailed descriptive information concerning the program of each group. These data will be analyzed by the committee to determine which organizations might be in need of special liability insurance to protect their respective advisors and students. Consequently, it is very important that the questionnaire included in this BULLETIN be filled out completely and promptly by an appropriate official in each organization. Questionnaires and inquiries concerning the study should be directed to Dr. Augustine. AUTOMATED MAILING LIST NOW AVAILABLE The mailing list used for the distribution of this BULLETIN is available without charge to any student organization or University office. The list has been established as part of the automated IBM mailing service through the Data Processing Department in University Hall. Addresses have been grouped according to the following divisions: professional fraternities; social fraternities; sororities; men's residence associations; women's residence associations; chartered organizations; governing bodies and programming agencies; and selected University staff members. The entire list, or any portion of it, may be used for only the cost of postage and incidental labor costs. The list is provided as a service by the Student Senate. Requests for use of the mailing list should be directed to Mr. W.M. Hutcheon, Office of Student Activities, 353-5761. CONTRIBUTIONS INVITED FOR FUTURE ISSUES OF BULLETIN Future issues of the STUDENT ACTIVITIES BULLETIN will be published approximately every two weeks for the remainder of this semester. The publication date and deadlines by which material must be submitted are indicated below. Information and articles appropriate to the purposes of the BULLETIN are invited. Due to space limitations, it is necessary for us to reserve the right to edit and condense articles whenever necessary. All communications should be directed to the editor: Dr. Roger D. Anticipated Deadline Dates Publication Dates for Contributions April 28 Noon, Wednesday,April 12 May 12 Noon, Wednesday, April 26 May 26 Noon, Wednesday, May 10 STATEMENT OF UNIVERSITY POLICY REGARDING SOLICITATIONS In response to referal inquiries during the past few weeks, the statement of University policy regarding solicitations is reproduced on the following page. It is the result of extensive consideration by the University Committee on Student Life. The policy was approved in January by President Howard R. Bowen. Questions concerning the interpretation of the policy may be directed to Miss Helen Reich, 111 University Hall, or Dr. Roger D. Augustine in the Iowa Memorial Union.
