ORGANIZATIONS TO PAY FOR USE OF UNIVERSITY BOX OFFICE

Beginning in September, 1969, student organizations will be assessed for distribution of tickets by the University Box Office, according to the schedule listed below:

Distribution of free tickets     $2.00 per day
A scale for tickets where admission
fee is charged:

1 - 500 tickets     2.00 per day
501 - 1500     3:00 per day
1501 - 2000     4.00 per day
2001 - 3000     5.00 per day
3001 - 5000     6.00 per day
over 5000   10.00 per day

Regular Box Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. If additional hours are requested by student organizations, an additional fee per staff person plus 10% will be charged. For further explanation, contact Mr. Ray Kril, Concert Manager, phone 353-3116.

HIGHLANDERS PRESENT PROGRAM AT WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY UNION

The University of Iowa Scottish Highlanders appeared in the Grand Ballroom of the University Union, Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois, at the International Banquet, Thursday evening, February 6, 1969, giving an hour's program of marching, piping & drumming, dancing and singing for the Division of International Services, and the Student Special Events Committee's Scottish program. Some 300 people attended, and the reception was most complimentary and delightful. Two Scottish ladies, of Dunoon and Argyle, Scotland, drove over 80 miles through the fox to hear the world-famous Highlanders, their last appearance in Dunoon, Scotland being August 9, 1968.
