April 25, 1969 STUDENT ACTIVITIES BULLETIN Page 2 The wealth of programming that will occur during "Arts and the Artist-1969" is phenomenal and publicity will be distributed shortly to inform the University community of what is happening. Funding for the festival came from an account set up by the administration with the hope that it will become an annual event. Money for the student events has been obtained from independent groups such as residence halls, Student Senate and has been supplemented by the general fund. There is a very good chance that there will be something besides a museum opened during "Arts and the Artist-1969"--something like people's minds.
