Presidents to Receive Summer Mailing

Late in July presidents of all recognized student organizations will receive information relation to the opening of school in September. They will be asked to provide their Iowa City addresses in order that the mailing list can be prepared in advance and ready for  use the classes begin. Also, applications for organization space at fall semester registration (September 10-12) will be included in the summer mailing.

This information will be sent to the permanent home addresses of the presidents of recognized student organizations as listed with the Office of Student Activities, ground floor, Iowa Memorial Union. Any presidents who cannot be reached at his permanent home address should notify this office of his alternate summer address prior to leaving Iowa City. The phone number is 353-5761.

Final Checklist of Organization Leaders

_______1. Annual report (if not already completed and turned in).

_______2. Reserve major facilities in Iowa Memorial Union for next year.

_______3. Finalize allocation agreement if receiving money from Student Senate.

_______4. Make arrangements for financial operations with Mr. Geiger, Auditor of Student Organizations, if you group will operate this summer and the treasurer will not be on campus. 

_______5. Give summer address to Office of Student Activities if you will not be at your permanent home address this summer. 

_______6. Turn in application for organization space at summer registration by June 3.
