TO SCHEDULE EVENTS IN THE UNION

The Event Services Office needs to know the date of the event, the time, this type of event, the sponsoring group, and the expected attendance. If the group wishes to serve food these arrangements must be made through Mr. Burda of Food Service.

If an organization wants a room for regular meetings, it should submit a list of meeting dates. If the group wishes to reserve a table in the Gold Feather Lobby, a form should be filled out in the Office of Student Activities. A rental fee is involved in the group is charging admission. There is always a charge for the use of the Main Lounge and the Ballroom depending on set-up costs.

UNIVERSITY WILL PROVIDE FREE POSTER DISTRIBUTION

Through the Office of Space Assignment and Utilization the University provides to student groups the service of distributing and posting bulletins regarding student activities. Through this service approved posters will be distributed to up to 50 University bulletin boards located around campus. All posters must be approved by the Office of Space Assignment before they can be posted. Posters will be approved only if they do not exceed 11" x 14" in size. Posters must be in the hands of the Office of Space Assignment two days before they are to appear on the bulletin boards. September 11   Academic Orientation Social Hour in the Main Lounge and Ballroom at 6:00 pm

September 12   U.B. Dance in the Main Lounge

September 15   Honors Tea & Meeting in the Main Lounge and G.G.R.

September 19   Activities Carnival in the Main Lounge and the second floor

September 27   Center New Music Concert in the Ballroom at 8:00 pm

September 29   Concert Series--Chicago Symphony in the Main Lounge at 8:00 pm
