It is an educational organization affiliated with other councils on campuses across the United States. It is the largest collegiate organization of any nature in America. CIRUNA activities began with the start of classes. In addition to meetings twice a month which include guest lectures, films, and discussions, major programs are carried out throughout the year. It is CIRUNA's policy to create activities and make them available. Their success is measured by student participation.
