UNION BOARD IS MADE OF

In the last issue of THE BULLETIN (October 24) a small part of Union Board's activities was outlined. Other areas are presented here:

Films

Weekend Movies committeemen select and present popular entertainment films.
Twentieth Century selects and presents documentary and human interest films depicting events, problems, and progress in twentieth-century life. 
Cinema 16 offers American and foreign art films, giving students of film art an opportunity to view some of the best foreign and domestic cinema.
Refocus annually presents a week-long program of outstanding creative photography and cinematography, including works of University students as well as outside artists.

Hospitality

This area coordinates hospitality work of all Union Board committees.

Litteraria

The Literary Presentations committee sponsors programs related to dramatic literature, such as The Living Theatre and readings from Victor Power's plays.
Literary Publications publishes a literary magazine, The Iowa State Liquor Store.
Poetry Readings sponsors readings by established poets as well as beginners within the University.
Literary Symposium seeks to bring students and scholars together to discuss current literary topics in a series billed as "Coffee House Dialogue."

Music

The Concerts committee is concerned with all concerts in the Union, including School of Music and Center for New Music concerts, and "Koncerts for Kids".
