UNION BOARD RESEARCH AREA Union Board Research Area is off to a flying start this year under the directorship of Larry Newman and Steve Miller. The seventy members are divided into three committees, with associated experts on polling, surveys, statistics, and photography. An investigation of the price of off-campus housing in relation to other universities in the Midwest and an evaluation of programs and facilities in the Union are two of the projects currently under way. The third committee is investigating the optimum method for handling the promotion of four State Department sponsored overseas trips to various areas of the world. Any organization with a specific project in mind should leave a note in the Research Director's mail box in the Activities Center or call Larry Newman. Projects of general student interest will have priority.
