November 7, 1969 STUDENT ACTIVITIES BULLETIN Page 7 U OF I ART WORKS BEING SHOWN Art works by University of Iowa are faculty members and students will be on exhibition in several shows this month. Twenty-five faculty members and 37 graduate students will be represented in an exhibition at the Museum of Art, while works by undergraduates will be shown in the Terrace Lounge of Iowa Memorial Union. Thesis works by recent graduate students will be displayed in the foyer of the Art Building. Some 50 photographs by former and present graduate students in creative photography are already on exhibition in the Maytag Auditorium of the museum, where they will be shown until November 15th. Works by faculty and graduate students will be on exhibition at the museum through December 3rd. POTPOURRI MISS MARDEL MILLER is a new staff member in the Office of Student Affairs. She is a counselor to women's programs and serves as adviser to Women's Panhellenic Association. ALPHA LAMBDA DELTA is a national honorary organization recognizing high scholastic achievement for freshman women. The SEALS CLUB was organized to promote interest, improvement and skill in synchronized swimming. The president is Vicki Robertson. The DMZ COFFEE HOUSE meets every Friday afternoon, 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the main lounge of Rienow II. Admission and coffee are free! TOM CLAIRE is a student who is looking for publicity. SUMMER FLIGHT WHAT: Union Board Summer Travel is sponsoring a charter to Europe this summer. The charger is being split between student union organizations at The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and Drake University. WHEN AND WHERE: Departure: Chicago to London on June 8, 1970. Return: Brussels to Chicago on August 25, 1970. WHO: Charter flight is open to students, staff, faculty, and parents of students who pay 50% of costs on campus. HOW MUCH: Cost is $232.00 roundtrip. Deposit of $75.00 must be paid to hold a reservation. Deposit payments and signed contracts are now being accepted in the Activities Center of the Iowa Memorial Union. Contracts are available at the Activities Center.
