NEW UNION BOARD PROJECTS:
Wanted: Talent for the Wheel Room

Union Board is looking for talent to perform in the Wheel Room. This will enable talented groups on campus to polish their skills and will give students an opportunity to perform on other campuses.

Any group or individual skilled in comedy acts, magic acts, singing, dancing or playing musical instruments should sign up for an audition in the Activities Center, Iowa Memorial Union or call 353-5745.

Saturday, November 22.....

...will be a busy day for Union Board which has organised two trips: the Illinois Migration will be a bus trip to the Iowa-Illinois football game; and another bus trip will leave to tour the Amana Colonies. The tour will include visits to the wineries, the cheese shops, furniture shops, museum, and concluding at the Ox Yoke Inn for dinner. For details and prices for these trips contact the receptionist at the Activities Center, Iowa Memorial Union, 353-5745.

Christmas Shopping in Chicago

On December 6 Union Board will sponsor a one day trip to the Big City. You can do your own thing in Chicago, but suggestions are Christmas Shopping or a trip to the Chicago Art Museum. Contact the Activities Center and ask the receptionist for further information. 

Thieves Market

The art students will be presenting their works for sale in the main lounge and terrace lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union on December 7 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity to witness today's art in the making and to purchase art works at very low prices.
