Profile Previews is sponsored by the Associated Women STudents and is designed to show the fashionable wardrobes and modeling abilities of today's campus coeds. Any freshman or transfer student may try out for the show (providing she is a female, that is!). There is no need to purchase anything new or to have any previous modeling experience. Miss Perfect Profile will be chosen from the participants. The show will be presented Friday, February 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Macbride Auditorium. SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER . . . so why not join the U of I Water Ski Club now? A new membership meeting will be held Wednesday, February 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Minnesota Room, IMU. Sailing films will be shown. The Water Ski Club has planned for lots of activity this semester! It provides complete instruction in all types of skiing for beginners as well as experienced water skiiers. All equipment, such as boats, skis, ropes, jackets, and wet suits, are provided. The membership fees are only $7.00 plus a share in the cost of gas when you ski. The Ski Club will present a water show on campus in May and plans to spend EASTER IN FLORIDA!!! "The Iowa State Liquor Store," the campus literacy magazine published by the Union Board, will go on sale January 30 for one dollar. A biannual endeavor, the Winter 1970 issue of "The Iowa State Liquor Store" includes the work of such writes as Victor Power, Mary Carter, James Hearst, Jane Shore and others from the Writer's Workshop. Also featured is Robert Creeley, a nationally noted poet from outside the University community. much of the magazine's artwork is woodcuts done by Art Rosenbaum. Plans are being made for large-scale distribution according to William Allen, editor of the magazine. On a small scale, "The Iowa State Liquor Store" will be sold at the Union, EPB and other locations on campus after 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30. Don't be left high and dry!
