Must Care Deeply, Noisily, Iowa Wife Tells Capital Women --- Continued from Page One in which she worked in her father's bakery and was proud to be Irish Catholic. She told of reciting the Rosary with her eight children and of her need to keep up to date with their language. At present, she can say "supercalifragilisticexpialadocious" just as fast as Mary Poppins. Mrs. J.B. Morris, jr., wife of an attorney, asked the audience not to confuse "the cliche of whom your daughter will marry" with the rights of her three sons to fulfill their aspirations for education, employment, and happiness. "I, a Negro mother, must explain to my three children that their color is not a punishment," said Mrs. Morris. Greater Freedom Mrs. David Kruidenier, wife of a business executive, told of her greater freedom than her fellow panelists from being a member of the non-Jeweish, non-Catholic, non-Negro, non-Oriental majority." She related that a Des Moines country club lifted its restrictions against Jews after her husband and other members resigned in protest and an economic boycott brought the club to the point of financial collapse. "We must case deeply and noisily," she said of the need for social action protest. Mrs. Arthur Stein, jr., wife of a business executive and a founder of the panel, acted as moderator of the program. She told of the beginnings of the panel-the desire of a few women to help human understanding through the medium of letting people know about themselves. Thank Women After the prgram, a number of businessmen took the trouble to walk behind the stage and thank the women. Three of the Chanber men, wearing Arkansas badges, headed straight for Mrs. Morris. "We sure want to thank you for a mighty fine program," said one, speaking in a rich Southern drawl.
