CALLING ALL CTHULHUISTS WEIRD FOR WEIRD A special session for fans of the fantastic, the supernatural, the outre, strange or grotesque will be staged by Francis T. Laney, famed editor of "The Acolyte". Samuel D. Russell, erudite student of off-trail literature, will present a prepared paper on the function of the weird in fiction, followed by the ghoulish laughter of prominent author Ray Bradbury in an early recording of "The Parasitic Hand". There is a possibility that Robert Bloch, recently anthologized by Arkham House, may be on hand to make a few explanatory remarks about his "Stay Tuned For Terror" program, which has been chilling Eastern fans, before the playing of one of his weird dramas. Finally---the piece de resistance — mono-named "Theodore" (the Macabre Man) will recount most peculiar tales from odd sources. CY BADGES NONE GENUINE WITHOUT AN OFFICIAL NAME-PLATE. When you REGISTER at the Convention Headquarters, which everyone will be, you will be given an Official Badge, which will let everyone know whom you are. These Badges will be cellophane with a safety pin attachment so they can easily be worn at all times. They have a place in which can be inserted your name and home city, and the name of your local club if you belong to one (more "ego-boo" for you). These will be but another of the fine mementoes of your visit out here. When you FIRST come into the Official Convention Hall be sure and locate the REGISTRATION DESK and register, and get your BADGE there. That will make it easy for everyone to recognize you, thus saving you the trouble of shouting your name every time someone wonders who you are. (Oh, all right, then, you can holler it, TOO!) EEE 10
