PRISON VISITATION COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION The Prison Visitation Coordinator is supervised by the Chicano-Indian American Cultural Center's Resident Manager and is responsible for the following: 1. Planning and scheduling prison visits. 2. Arranging transportation for prison visits. 3. Coordinating activities between prison inmates and the Center. 4. Promoting exhibits of inmates art and crafts at the University of Iowa and the Center. 5. Development of prisoner education programs. 6. Publicizing joint inmate/student activities. 7. Arranging for inmate speakers at the University of Iowa and the Center when possible and appropriate. 8. Performing other duties in conjunction with this position as directed by the Resident Managere.
