VIII NOTE OF CONGRATULATIONS AND RECOGNITION In the last issue of the Seneca Review, our brother, Ray Young Bear has had a poem of his published. The poem is entitled, "The Crow-Children Walk my Circles In the Snow". It is a beautiful piece of poetry that thoughtfully expresses Ray's heritage as the focal point. It is well worth the effort to pick the latest Seneca Review up and read Ray's poem. The time will be spent, -- do it soon. Congratulations Ray. It's beautiful! NEW NEWS Plans are presently being initiated to start a craft center in cooperation with the Afro-Center. This will be discussed in more detail a the next general meeting. All those interested please attend the next general meeting or contact Rusty. TO A PARTICULAR FRIEND You say I am a woman My Friend, But then you dismiss the thought that you are a man. You have sorted things out that were so tangled within me And yet you call me a woman. You have shared a rare kind of love with me. it is both gentle understanding and yet a dominating feeling. (all while I lay mute), And still you call me a woman. You, my friend, are one of the few rare males I consider a man. You are a man! Elisa M. Sanchez [Illustration caption:] Teotihuacan Stone Mask
