Yolanda Leos is expecting in mid-July and Elia Ildefonso in August. To Roberto Leos and Eddie Ildefonso we send each a box of tranquilizers so that THEY stay cool,calm,and collected. We know they need it more. GOOD LUCK! *** Eliza Sanchez, from Davenport, is working this summer in Iowa city with the Upward Bound Project. She is a Teacher's assistant. Rudy Villalobos is also working as a TA with the same project. Rudy is growing a beard a la Fidel Castro. Hope you don,t take to the mountains this summer, ese. Wait for the rest of us. We wish Eliza and Rudy a good working summer. *** This week's loan of the Chicano Indian Center's CHICANO POWER BUTTON goes to Arturo Ramirez. Arturo has been working selflessly with a number of crisis in town that involved some carnales. Arturo was the only guy in town that La Raza could turn to and he has been there. Arturo has given of his time, energy and patience like a true soldado de la Raza that he is.
