Well we don't think that we have to quote the article any further. In a nutshell thats the new breed of social workers or rather the spitting image of the ones of the past. However, there is one quesdtioned in our minds, that is what innovative reforms has the School of Social Work implemented? You stated that "some questioned, how much more innovation the School of Social Work is ready for at this time." JUST HOW MUCH INNOVATION HAS THE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL IMPLEMENTED IF ANY? As far as many of us can see, many of you are still operating under 19th century mentality. But then again, so is the rest of this country -- so don't feel so bad. In either case, we would be extremely interested in receiving a written response to the above from you nice guys. Don't worry we'll make sure that its published in our next issue in its entirety.

EL LABERINTO is PROUD to announce the appointment of Ms. Darlene Wind as the new RESIDENT MANAGER of the CHICANO INDIAN-AMERICAN CULTURAL CENTER. Her appointment becomes effective May 7th, 1978. She will go under a one month training period and officially move into the CIACC on or about June 1st this year. At that time her predecessors Mr & Mrs Arnuflo Ramirez will be returning to their home state Texas. We would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for FIVE years of dedicated service with the CIACC and the CIASU. Best wishes in your future endeavors from all of us aqui en Iowa. OH! enjoy el sol cause we sure don't seen much of it aqui in the corn capitol of the world Tambien,l Darlene you'll be seeing the rest of us all next year, remember the famous palabras; ENDURANCE, PERSEVERANCE and INSANITY will get you through you trabajo as the new RESIDENT MANAGER. OH! a little bit of TE-KILL-YOU helps out during the crunchy period --- which is all the time. Remember you have to take your turn like todo mundo when you want to use el bano. Pretend the dishes don't exist and they'll go away. There is one draw back and thats DANCING BEAR MUNOZ can't bring those back, only dientes.
