Should this link become broken the person would die immediately but this is a seldom occurence. Astral Body exists a long time after the death of the physical body but in time it disintegrates. At times it regains around the grave of the corpse and is oft times mistaken for the 'ghost' of the dead person, although it is but a fine shell encasing the soul. The Astral Body of a dying person is often projected to the presence of friends and relatives a few moments before physical death. This phenomena arrises from the strong desire of the dying to see and be seen. THE SATANISTS The ritual of the Black Mass or the worship of the Devil is in every part exact opposite of that held in Christian Churches. The sole purpose of the Satanists is to give forth blasphemous insult to God and mockery and defilement of His symbols. Such a religion as this was held in an Medieval period in the utmost secrecy but hundreds attended these 'Sabbaths' regularly. Due to the oppression of the serfs by the Barons and the Church their only true expression of their lives was by signing the pact with the Devil who brought them joy and relief from the grim drudgery of the field. The rituals, tho in exact opposite to that of the Christian, have had from time to time many changes and variations. The sabbaths of the earlier Medieval period were a serious and solemn affair but those of a later day were sometimes turned into naught but a carnival of lust. This de-
