And therefore deprive themselves of the pleasure of reading many good stories such as "Captain of Souls", "Green Rust", "The Day of Uniting", etc. "The Captain Of Souls" concerns the ability of ex-convict to transfer his life force into another body. At the end of the book, when his unscrupulous and handsome rival has him sent to the gallows, he transfers his personality into his reval's body and Ye Villyun is the one who suffers a broken neck. "Green Rust" is the story of an attempt to destroy the world's wheat crops by means of a new plant disease which is dubbed with the above title. "The Day of Uniting" deals with a doom comet which is about to come close enough to the Earth to destroy all life. A struggle develops between those who wish to keep this a secret and those who want to inform the world. Wallace is also famous as one of the originators of "King Kong". THE SIGN AT SIX A.L. Burt Co,; 1912. Stewart Edward White, famous author of numerous novels of the West and frontier life, here turned his talents into the scientifictional line.
