THE ALCHEMIST Page 69 ((And then from the Plutonians we have a brief outline of #2)) The entire issue is EXCELLENT! R.V. Hunt's art work is very very very good. As the Alchemist sees it----interesting. Paul's projector-----like all of 4e's stuff; xlnt. The Poll To End Polls---------OK. Book reviews----always read this section. An Experiment In Alchemy-------liked it. Terra 2000---------didn' appeal. The Eternal Mind-----2J4 is clever. Poet's Corner-----a good feature---liked THE LURKERS & A WILD SONG. Department--THE RETORT BUBBLES--nice comment title--& interesting. ((Have you ever seen five colors mimeod on one page? Inquire at PLUTO)) RAJOCZ WRITES: Your second issue of Al is a big improvement over the first. Hunt's illustrations are wonderful, the best being the one in the first issue for "Necropolis." It's too bad the cover of that issue wasn't darker for what I could make of it was very good. Now for the center-page spread. Since you don't want to show favorites among different fan-poets, why not have your artist illustrate some scene from a famous scienc-fiction story? There are numerous scenes one could use from any one story. Please, please give us back the center-spread. Surely if you do as I suggest above you wouldn't be showing favoritism. ((The center-double-spread will be back. I've seen it already and it's a honey)) PLUTO PLUTO [illustrated] Have you seen it?
