Februar, 1941. SUN SPOTS Page 37. Bill, it was better than the hecto. The material isn't too bad, only with it was more clearly printed. Keep trying, Bill. FANTASY FICTION FIELD:4 readable mimeod pages, published weekly by Mr. J. Unger, at 1702 Dahill road, Brooklyn,N.Y.-5[[cent symbol]]. Last issue we got a hold of was the Nov. 30, 1940 ish. Kinda old, but I hear that Julius is now illustrating his stories with pics, you know, snap shots. It Sounds nice. FAN RECORD:- One 10 inch record, to be published soon by Sully Roberds at 922 W. Division St., Normal, Ill.-40[[cent symbol]]. Three for $1.00. Sounds like a swell idea. Why not give Sully your support and subscribe. THE FUTURIAN WAR BULLETIN:-8 Well mimeoed pages, published monthly by J. Michael Rosenblum, at 4 Grange Terrace, Chapeltwon,Leeds 7,England. This issue has improved over the last, both in size and intrest. LE ZOMBIE:-12 Well mimeod large sized pages, published monthly by B. Tucker, at Box 260 Bllominton,Ill.-5[[cent symbol]]. December issue---all letters. They were fairly intresting, though it really wasn't very nice of Bob to use letters that were personal to him, for publication. oh well... MERCURY:-Haven't seen it lately. MIDWEST NEW S & VIEWS:- 10 fairly well mimeoed pages, published by Korshak, at irregular times at 5555 Hyde Pk. Blv'd, Chicago,Ill.-3 for 10[[cent symbol]]. Intresting cahtter, but please ink better am'ts. LE VOMBITEUR:- 2 pages, mimeod irresgularly by Doc Lowndes at 129 W. 103rd St., NYC. This two paged paper contains a very interesting account of a meeting of the QSFL. Read Belings editorial. NEPENTHE:-32 large sized hectoed pages published quarterly by Earl Singleton, at M.I.T. Grad house, Cambridge, Mass.(Are you Janitor Earl, or do you really attend college?) Kiddin' aside, this mags got some 25 pages of swell poetry, if you like poetry, and I do.The hectoing's swell, and Tanner's Hilary Boone is well worked out. POLARIS:-Haven't seen it in quite some time. SNIDE:- 3,000 ditto's. (Dear Damon, what's holdin' yah up?) SCIENTIAL:- This can go on for ever.(If you don't return"Which Was It" Studley, I'll ring your lousey neck the next time I see you. What about the 10[[cent symbol]] I sent you for its return postage a few months ago.-Send it along and be quick---de la Ree) SPACEWAYS:- Need I say more?--Ann-ish 40 well mimeod pages, published every 6 weeks by Harry Warner,Jr. at 303 Brayn Place, Hagertown,Md. 10[[cent symbol]] Why go on? THE SOUTHERN STAR:-To be published soon by Joe Gilbert, 3911 Park St., Columbia, So. C. ULTRA:-16 fairly well mimeoed pages, published bi-monthly by Eric F. Russell, at 274 Edgecliff Rd., Woolahra, Sydney, Aust. 3 for 25[[cent symbol]]. Aside from the spotty mimroing this mag is good. The illustrations are poor outside the cover, and could be improved. Material good. VAN HOUTEN SAYS: Haven't seen it lately. VOICE OF IMAGI-NATION:-10 pages well mimeoed, published by America's $#1 fan, 4sj Ackerman,and America's number one fanette, Morojo.at Bx 6475 Met. Station, Los Angeles, Calif. The letters, are as usual of intrest only to the fans, but they are reallyvery interesting. They finally got a cover! SHANGRI-LA:-30 well mimeod large sized pages,, published by Walt Daugerty, semi-annually. -10[[cent symbol]]. Is a beauty as far as mimeoing goes. The ads and illustrations are the best feature of the mag. Material-fair. * * * * * THE END:We wish to thank all the fan mag eds for sending their mags this past year in trade for ours.
