(F)animals Stories Illustrated* By Calise Chauvenet (at the age of 7 years). Once apon a time there lived in the same house Elephants and every other kind of Animals. One day one Elephant decided he would go out rowing so he left the house in the care of the Animals. So away he went with his Lunch Basket. As night came on he put a Tent up in the Boat and he had a very Happy night. In the morning he got up, dressed himself, and ate his meal of bacon, cron bread, egg, milk and then smoked. I tell you he liked his meal so very much, and he liked it so much he decided to send word to the Animlas by his per Bird. he ment he was going to hang a card on his neck and This is what he said Dear Animals I have made up my mind to have luncha dn supper here on the boat, may I? Much love, Jack And they wrote back and said Dear Jack you can do anything you want to we dont care and please bring us each one fish you know that thre are 100 of us dont you. P.S. Well good-by. much love Tom. my gosh said Jack I can't get 100 fish, well maybe I can he sat on the edge and all of a sudden he caught 123456789 and so on untill to 100 then 200 then 300 then 400 then 500 then 600 he was so happy he ate 3 fishes, milk, rice, tomatoes so quickly that it took only 3 min. brought 100 little dogs and ate supper in 4 min and hurryed home in the boat. They were so glad to se Jack They gave a party and $10,000 were given to Jack and They lived HAPPY EVER AFTER -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear 4e I ran across this masterpiece by one of my 4 kid sisters--(I give it just as its written in the MS, cron bread & all!)--when I sorted out the accumulated papers of the past 10 years or so. Since I see by "Rahuun Ta-Ka or Revenge" that you're in the need of material meeting the standards of that great story, I hasten to submit the above.
