Science Fiction Collector-- Page Twenty-Nine no connections with the fan world at the time, and upon meeting Ossie Train and Milt Rothman in October, 1933, we told them our plans, and they condescended to edit the magazine for us-- all we would have to do would be to print it! However, JVB and I began to get ideas of our own, and FANTASCIENCE DIGEST was projected with JVB and RAM as editors. This failed to materialize, too-- and Philadelphia's first fan magazine was the FANTASY FICTION TELEGRAM, published in 1936. However, FANTASCIENCE DIGEST finally did appear, although not in printed format as originally planned. It will contain at least forty pages, with material by the leading professional and fan writers. As this issue is costing quite a bit to publish, it
