FAN...............................................................23 making the project your own and practically getting part credit for its success. Let's not be bound by our pettiness next time the "Greater Plan Season" comes around. Don't desert old faithfuls that have proven their worth, but hold off for a while and let your pet project dawdle a bit until you see how the wind blows. Don't risk getting snowed under -- it's a purely normal phenomenon..RS o o o o o o o o o o f i n i s o o o o o o o o o o EDITORIAL The lack of variety of material this issue is directly due to the lack of material. To any new reader who receives this copy within January 1942, this copy is not a back number, but a current copy dated back so as to fill the gap of numbers we missed during our sponsering the World's Science Fiction Convention in 41 here in Denver. We were unable at the time to publish this magazine along with our convention duties so had to temporarily drop it. We are now catching up by putting from one to three or four issues out a month till we get our date current again. Having put out three issues within the last month we have become drained of material and with this issue have had to rely on much staff written articles by Martin. We implore anyone who will, to write us some articles. We will accept fiction and poetry now, but when we become current, articles will be all we'll take. Despite the fact that most this issue is staff written, we believe the quality of this number is above our two previous ones. While meaning no slander at anyone having material in any of these last three catch-up issues, we regret that the quality of some of the material is not as high as we would like. However, we can promise you when we are again current we will have to publish fewer issues and will have more pick of material....Olon Wiggins o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o
