Somebodys telling on themselves. Have you got a copy of the August AMAZING STORIES announcing the monthly merit award? Here is an excerpt from the last paragraph... Why Mr. Palmer, do you mean to insinuate that the books advertized on the backside of the page, as published by ZIFF-DAVIS are of no value? Oh! Mr. Palmer, I bet Mr. Ziff thinks your a naughty boy, Tch, Tch, Tch! HA! It is whispered around in the sewers and alleys of Bloomington that , that card Tucker is rather peeved with John (manuscript mauler) Campbell over the amount of rejections flying hither and mostly thither thru the Mails!
