Sinak; THE STAR PARADE, by Henry Kuttner, and THE METAL OCEAN, by Eando Binder. The feature article will by HYPERCOSMOC, by C.P. MASON. Stories scheduled for future issues are; THE COSMIC HISS, by Edmond Hamilton; THE TELEPATHIC BOMB, by Frederic Arnold Kummer, Jr.; THE HUMAN EQUATION, by Max Sheridam; THE DISCARDED VEIL, by Arthur J. Burks; and CONQUEST OF FIRE, a novelet by a new author, Ward Hawkins. Editor MARG[illegible] also writes that he'll soon let us know about that companion magazine. Watch FANTASY NEWS for complete details of this new stf magazine. THIS WEEK'S FAN MAGAZINES NOTE: All reviews in this issue marked (LK) are written by KOUIS KUSLAN, our REVIEW EDITOR TOMORROW, one of the best fan mags, if not the best, comes out with the second printed issue. The cover depicts several futuristic trains, ships, and plans. The contents include the "Quarterly Cavalcade", a very excellent review; An article on the new British stf magazine, FANTASY; news on rocketry by P.E. Cleator; A psychology article; an interview with Gillings; and many other items of interest (LK) THE SCIENCE FICTION COLLECTOR appears with Vol. 4, no. 2. The cover and interior drawings are by Jhon Y. Baltadonis. The Eternal Wanderer and FANTAGLIMMERINGS are the usual columns. Besides these appear articles by DALE HART, Carnelll (his is a usual column also). There is also an article on the recent convention, and a fan mag review. Altogether a very good issue. Art work, swell. (LK) SCIENCE FANTASY MOVIE REVIEW appears for the fourth time. This time it reviews "KING KONG". The art work and hectoing is most excellent, especially the drawing on page 9. (LK) FANTASCIENCE DIGEST, Agnew's cover was pretty good, showing improvement in his figure work. Niles Frome's story was fairly good, Kuttner's article was highly humorous, Cadrell's hecto article was very good. Nicks from the Press was not stf.-(Giunta) REVIEW OF THE PROS The latest THRILLING WONDER STORIES has just appeared, and to my amazement, it is the best to have appeared yet. A good cover by Brown, Grade A stories by Campbell, Jacobi, Friend (a new stf writer) Cummings and Wellman. An interesting article by CP Mason which is illustrated by PAUL. All the regular features of source. A really splending issue. (LK) AMAZING STORIES also came out this week, showing a great improvement over their stories and introducing two new artists were are very good. The great announcement is that AMAZING is coming out monthly With the improvement in stories, I should make a grade A stf mag before long.
