TELLUS PAGE TEN REFORM FOR WORLD SAVERS This is just a brief outline of more evident points as a starter: 1.-Forbid all hands, especially those who save the world in WT, to try luring readers with "Little did I dream" ; "My uncle John was very strange," "The old house looked very grim and disastrous," etc. 2.-Thin out, bu sudden death, or other means, tho 999 fictional minor characters Bob Heinlein employs when writing stories. 3.-Provide a simpler means for new fans to differentiate between Manley Wade wellman and Robert Koore Williams. 4.-Demand that the Futurian Society admit that they write all their stories. 5.-Forbid Hamilton to allow his villains to destroy more than one world at a time. 6.-Induce Dorothy Quick to lay aside her quilt until she has it washed. 7.-Threaten RAP if he uses "Henpecked Hector's Horrifying Hautomatic Hairgrower" etc.. more than six time in an issue of you - know - what. 8.-Have Hamilton give Otho a vocal operation to cure him of hissing and see how Koenig takes it. 9.-Give Northwest Smith a stiff shot in the arm to see if it does him any good. 10.-Deprive Gray Lonamon of [intertialoss?] drive;----Harold Shea of his nude woman;---Pete Manx of his time machine and flashy clothes----John Carter of Mars and his stolen princesses... see how they [underlined] like it. This deviated a little from the saving-the-world scheme [All underlined] but only the surface of suggestion has been touched. A good author should be able to think of sixty. scfiction needs a survey such as that of Haycraft. The Pacificon should prove a common ground for improvident.
