FANTASY COMMENTATOR 1 CONTENTS for December, 1943 This-'n-That 2 consisting, this issue, of a few editorial comments on this magazine's policy, together with brief elaborations on its present and future contents, and sundry notes concerning publication of British and American fantasy books "A Few Uncomfortable Moments" 3 a critical and descriptive evaluation of the weird short stories of E.F. Benson, a little-known and undeservedly neglected writer in the field of fantasy, to which is added, for bibliographical purposes, a brief listing of books mentioned Rendezvous with Triplets 11 by means of which I hope to acquaint uninformed readers with three outstanding collections of short fantasy tales: work of John Collier, the---alas!---late Eric Knight, and their cohorts "Devil Take the Hindmost---" 15 in which those items comprising the September F.A.P.A mailing are figuratively dissected and exposed to criticism, much to the amusement and personal satisfaction of Fantasy Commentator's editor and publisher This is volume one number one of Fantasy Commentator, bearing the date of December, 1943. The editor and publisher is A. Langley Searles, whose address is 19 East 235th Street, New York 66, N.Y. All material herein, unless otherwise credited, may be blamed on him. Although it is distributed free of charge to all F.A.P.A members, this magazine may also be obtained by anyone else interested for fifteen cents per copy. The next issue, God and local board #101 willing, will probably appear in time for inclusion in the second 1944 mailing
