Wollheim (1st Advisor) Larry Shaw (2d Advisor) V. K. Emden (3d Advisor) Notes The omission of Louis Russell Chauvenet from the list of members, as presented below, is not a typographical error. Mr. Chauvenent has resigned from membership, stating that he is with drawing completely from the "fan world", and that he has no further interest in organizations such as Vanguard. Apologies to Norman F. Stanley for our having listed him in the last VA as Norman A. Stanley. We were obviously thinking of Norman A. Knight, one of our favorite scribes in the pseudo-science fiction field. The error has been corrected. Hats Off! To one of our newest members, William M. Danner, who is responsible for the membership cards distributed with this mailing. Financial Statement Balance prior to sending 2d Mailing $40.45 Cost of sending out 2d Mailing $2.83 Income $5.00 Expenses since 2d Mailing 2.42 Balance 40.20 Report on Stock Extra issues of magazines contained in the 1945 Mailings have been, and shall continue to be used for promotion -- except in such cases where 6 copies or less are all the remainder of a given item. Whenever any particular magazine has dwindled to 6 copies, we shall list it here. The price of each magazine is determined by the number of pages (a letter-sized sheet being used as the standard); price is 5¢ for each four pages or full-page fraction thereof. This department shall also list publications which are out of print. Out of Print: Constitution (1st Mailing) Stock is low on Price per copy Tumbrils #1 -- 2 copies 10¢ Agenbite of Inwit (March) -- 1 copy 10¢ K'Taogm-m #1 -- 2 copies 10¢
