Were we ever busy last nite. It started the minute I got on duty. Accident case came in. Some of these Royal Cab drivers that are so wreckless. Got him all repaired & then had some emergency surgery. At the same time we had a couple deliveries & 2 more admissions. By 7:00 I was plenty ready to give up. I came over & practically fell into bed & slept so hard. Hope tonite isn't like that at all. Couldn't stand it 2 nites in a row. I could I suppose but you know how it is. More trouble is brewing the nursing office from reports going around. They had another of their long student body meetings. I'm glad I work nites & sleep days. That way I can sorta keep out of the trouble. I want nothing to do [with] it, believe me. Darling, is it safe for me to hope & pray that
