Jan 8, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Today at noon I got a wire from the one I love so very much with the new address so will write tonite so you'll get one before to long. It came earlier this AM but since I was sleeping they didn't wake me up and was I mad when they said they didn't. They now know that if it's anything from you I'm to be awakened. Every letter and word from you means so very very much to me. I love you so dearly and it all means so much and brings you as close as possible. Just to be near you - to talk to you would be so wonderful. It seems that time will never pass until you are home with me for-
