enough for any person. We all prayed for them the nite before. Pardon just a minute. Have to tune the radio. Is horrible program on right now. Some good music now -- "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows." I like that. I got a letter from your Mom. Said rose was to land in New York on the 5th. Isn't it wonderful? I was really surprised about it but I'm so happy for her. Wonder if she'll be discharged before long. Be swell if she does. I haven't heard from the folks lately. I suppose they're so busy trying to get moved out [they're last?]. Mom wrote & said she'd sold most of her dining room set & the piano & heavens knows what else. I'm hoping I can go home next wk. if I can give report & get to the bus station by 7:45. I should if they don't ask alot of questions.
