(3) & they practically pounded me to wake me. I had intended calling your folks but slept. Bridgers came for a while that evening. Al is still in Boston & Margaret is living in Okla. somewhere. Next AM I called your Mom & so happened Steamer was in Wash. so he came down & we went to Rubio. About the time we got started had an awful snow storm -- regular blizzard. And honey that nite [illegible] real moonlight & would have been wonderful for coasting. Rose was home & we had a swell visit. She's changed some, I think. And does she has a tan. Meg & I look terrible. And Karen is growing so fast & is she sweet. That P.M. Rose Horsie & Meg came to Washington to meet Swede so I came back [with] them. Was first I'd seen Swede. Really
