February 20, 1946 My dearest Carroll, Hi darling! Only 8 more days in Feb. The time is getting closer & closer. It won't be much longer will it honey? It will be so wonderful to see you & just in thinking about it I get so excited and happy. Darling, darling I love you so very much. I could go on & on about how I love you but first I'd better get on [with] the news. What little I have will slip away. Tonite I have to work 7-7. Hope it's rather a quiet nite. Won't be so bad tho cuz I have 2 PRN nurses now so one will be able to float tonite. I can really sleep in peace tonite. I slept good today too for a change. guess I was so tired I couldn't help it. Last nite I did a washing so this P.M. I
