lose any sleep. This after noon they trucked us all down to the lake for a big swim and clothes wash. The water was cool, but it felt good. I guess that about catches things up. That watch for rose sounds nice. That should make a mighty nice present. I hope you both do get into Chicago for her graduation. I got your letter today Mom with the pictures. They were pretty good of the room and they weren't too bad of me. One was better than the others though. Can't pull many strings about a furlough but it would be fine if I could get there this fall if Ken was coming. I got the Carlion today but there wasn't much on the football game was there? Too bad they can't get started off a little better. This is short but as I said, I have alot of letters to write plus getting ready for tomorrow. Bye for now. Love, Carroll
