had cuz this AM the director was over to survey the place. Told some they had to keep their door closed until they got it cleaned up. Today I had a P.M. All day off tomorrow. Nice huh? We were ambitious today so did some washing. Mailed some pkgs. We practically ran back & forth cuz it was so cold. I got a letter from Mom today. Said [illegible] was married in [Friend's?] church last wk. She was engaged to a cousin of Bruce [illegible]. In a letter from Joan she told me she was so very happy for both of us but a little envious. She says I make her feel more like an old maid all the time. I'm going to [illegible] Tues. The folks are to be there & meet me. Joan will be home till Wed sometime so guess I'll get to see her for a few minutes. Got a note from your [Mom?] in Xmas card today too. She said Ray had called
