Speaking of hauling coal the other morning reminded me of something. Its about the people here in Vienna. They are pretty cold and hungry. You can see them running around picking up every little stick and bit of paper that happens to be around. When we were unloading the coal yesterday, the people just stood around and watched. Its the same way at meal times. There are always people of all ages standing around the building begging for scraps or anything else. Honey, I don't mind telling you it just about gets to me sometimes. Maybe they did start the war, but I sure hate to see kids and old people going hungry. Maybe I'm just not hard hearted enough to make a good soldier. Its raining out tonight. How I
