Dec 5, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hi darling! Here I am back at the company again. After all that packing and waiting, we finally made it. Here is some mighty fine news. When I came back I had four packages from Mom plus about ten letters. five of which were from you darling. Two were old and the others to my present address. Alot of the boys have gone as I told you they were going to. However, the 31st isn't leaving until sometime around the first of the year so I'll probably hang around for awhile yet.
