Some of the fellows with the same number of points as myself think we should get home around April. Darling, how wonderful that would be. One good thing about staying here is that they will probably discharge us soon after getting back to the States. What a wonderful feeling it will be to know I'm through with the army. Honey, I think it would be best to announce our engagement now. That way we could be married soon after I get home, if I should happen to get home sooner than we think. It's all so uncertain. If you wanted to wait you could wait until about the first of the year. But if you are waiting for me, I wouldn't be there at the time.
