when one of the boys came over to see me. I ate early dinner then headed for the locker room. It was just like the "Old Days" honey. Pretty big crowd there. Mostly GI's, but also alot of civilians. Darling, its a far cry from high school football. What big guys. Both teams averaged about 200 lbs or better. Darling, I was lucky enough to make first string backfield so I got to start the game. I wasn't in too good shape, but they started me anyway. Everything went ok until the first part of the last half and then I hurt my shoulder. That finished me for the day.
